次の日経の記事を見て、ちょっと喜んだ。

●フジテレビ、全米に日本語放送・ＣＡＴＶ利用

が、その番組が流れるはずのAZN Televisionというのが、うちの契約しているTime Warner Cableのラインナップに入っていないのだった。悲しみが走った。ノースカロライナは「全米」に含まれないのだろうか。

AZNのチャンネルサーチのページからTime WarnerにリクエストのFAXを自動的に送ることができるようになっていて、

Dear Cable Provider:

I recently visited International Networks’ web site, and discovered you do not offer AZN Television to your subscribers. I urge you to offer this channel to your customers.

As you may know, Asians and Asian Americans are a quickly growing segment of the population in the United States. In addition, these cultures are of great interest to many in the US who are not of Asian heritage. AZN Television is the first major national channel to serve these varied and growing populations.
